After exactly eight months of constant travel, we pulled into this lovely camping park called Alto de Vinuelas located northeast of the city of Granada, Spain and just up the hill from the village of Beas de Granada. Its views of the Sierra Nevada mountains across a valley of blooming almond trees and vineyards inspired us to stay a week, the longest we camped anywhere during this trip.  Above is the view from our "pitch" or campsite. Below is a view of the valley from the driveway of the camping park.

This week began with a rest day, enjoying the view, warm sunshine, and light breezes. We had been quite chilly in the Galicia region of northern Spain, so the mountain sunshine felt delightful. We used the day to open all the windows, air out the motorhome, and clean house a bit. We also walked carefully down this road into the village to look around. A quiet, rural setting.
