Two magnificent buildings seemed to dominate the skyline in Prague. Even deep in the narrow streets the copper, onion-domed spires of the St. Nicholas Church are visible. The view from the iconic Charles Bridge below affords a glance at the dark Gothic spires of the St. Vitus Cathedral.

We were surprised to also find a picturesque canal. The Certovka Channel lies along the west side of the Vltava River. The canal was built in Medieval times to supply a calm and control-able water supply for mills along this side of the river.

Our second evening in Prague we enjoyed a dinner cruise on the Vltava River. All aspects were delightful: the scenery, food, ambiance, and music - a duo playing American Jazz. Such a romantic evening!

For our final day, we explored the Jewish Quarter of Prague. We visited the Jewish Museum, which is composed of three synagogues, one hall, and an old Jewish cemetery. The synagogues feature lovely stained glass windows. Notice in the final photo, the crowded together Jewish headstones. Exploring this beautiful part of Prague was sobering and reflective. A good way to wind up our visit to this lovely city.
